LLC Taas-Yuryakh Neftegazodobycha, a subsidiary of Rosneft, was established in 2000 and is developing the Central Block and the Kurungsky license area of the Srednebotuobinskoye oil and gas condensate field located in the southwestern part of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). In the region, the Company is also the operator of geological exploration work at 8 licensed areas of Rosneft, the total area of which exceeds 50 thousand km2.
As of 01.01.2019, the initial recoverable reserves of the field under category АВ1+В2 make up 169 million tons of oil and more than 190 billion m3 of gas.
The main activity of the Company is oil and associated gas production. LLC Taas-Yuryakh Neftegazodobycha joined Rosneft in 2013, simultaneously with the start of commercial operation of the Srednebotuobinskoye field and the delivery of products to the East Siberia-Pacific Ocean (ESPO) pipeline system.
The prospects and production potential, as well as the proximity to the markets of the Asia-Pacific region made it an attractive asset for foreign investors. In 2016, an international production consortium was formed on the basis of LLC Taas-Yuryakh Neftegazodobycha. The project includes foreign partners: the international company BP and Indian companies Oil India, Indian Oil Corporation and Bharat PetroResources. Rosneft retained a majority stake of 50.1% in the project .
In 2015, the Company launched a project to build infrastructure facilities for the second stage of the field development. Hydrocarbon production, treatment and transportation facilities were put into operation as soon as possible. The second string of oil pipeline to ESPO with the length of almost 170 km was put into operation.
According to the results of production activity in 2018, the volume of oil production of the Company amounted to 2.9 million tons, which is more than 2 times higher than in 2017.
The production activity of LLC Taas-Yuryakh Neftegazodobycha is characterized by high technology. The Company uses best practices, automated management and control systems. Preference is given to modern Russian-made equipment.
Modern drilling technologies are used to improve the efficiency of the Srednebotuobinskoye field development. Construction of multihole wells has been underway at the field since 2016. During this time, 15 multihole wells were drilled using fishbone technology. In early 2019, the Company set a record for onshore drilling in the Russian Federation. The total length of the horizontal section in the pay zone was 6,052 meters.
LLC Taas-Yuryakh Neftegazodobycha adheres to the principles of high social responsibility and guarantees employees favorable and safe working conditions, develops the production culture, forms and maintains sports and professional traditions. The Company staff is more than 1,500 people.
The main priority of LLC Taas-Yuryakh Neftegazodobycha's HR policy is to involve the local personnel. To this end, since 2016 the Company has been implementing Rosneft's corporate program School-University-Enterprise in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). As part of the program, Rosneft Classes opened in the cities of Lensk and Mirny, and the first Rosneft Oil and Gas Department in Yakutia opened at the Polytechnic Institute (branch) of the Ammosov North-Eastern Federal University in Mirny.

June 2019 - 10 million tons of oil produced since the start of field development
February 2019 - a record of sinking a multibore well (fishbone technology) was set.
